Carlos Zuniga

Carlos is a half Chilean half Italian painter. His work mainly focuses on the dynamic appearance and disappearance proposing metaphorical representations of the events that took place in Chile under Augusto Pinochet's military dictatorship. He works in first instance with photographic prints of anonymous subjects. These images are transferred onto phone book pages as it is "an element easily identified by the viewer". Doing exhibitions and collaborations in East London including Bricklane Carlos' is activeness is represented in his unique and diverse style.
