Arrows of Love "We're Products in this Capitalist Society"
Alice from Arrows of Love tells us about "Product: your soundtrack to the impending societal collapse". The new album is out now and we caught them at the launching at Rough Trade East.
"Product" was produced by Mikko Gordon (Thom Yorke, Gaz Coombes) and released by the label "I'm not from London records". Its sound could be defined as when Post-Punk meets Grunge. Poetic lyrics dressed by rage and irony, served on a sizzling bed of roaring electric guitars and thundering drums.
After touring UK, Europe and USA, including Southwest Festival and CMJ Music Marathon, and receiving the PRSF'S respected Momentum Award for their first album "Everything's fucked up"; Arrows of Love locked themselves in the studio to produce this art-rock gem. Digging deeper into their sound using a sophisticated shovel, grounded on a more refined style in the line of their previous work.
